New Mexico State Parks Division – Habitat Helpers

Celebrate Earth Day with the Habitat Helpers as we improve the native bosque habitat at Rio Grande Nature Center State Park in Albuquerque. We’ll tackle invasive plants and weeds, reintroduce native plants, remove vegetation that can fuel wildfires, add/repair fencing, and install signage.

Meet up at the group shelter outside the Education Building, bring water, gloves, and wear closed-toe shoes. A $5 parking fee applies to all vehicles entering the park.
