The 415th annual cleaning of the Acequia Madre will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025

ALL residents whose property is adjacent to or is crossed by the Acequia Madre are reminded of their traditional responsibilities to clean the Acequia of all trash, leaves, large rocks and silt. Any small trees, bushes etc. that have started to grow on the banks of the Acequia or grass growing on the bottom should also be removed. The Association will pick up the trash if it is placed in bags, bundles or neatly piled alongside the Acequia.

Anyone who wishes to help with the cleanup is invited to show up at 8:30 am in front of the Acequia Madre Elementary School on Saturday morning.
